Matt Lumpkin

Matthew Lumpkin is an intelligent, southern, family
man with a common-sense philosophy. Since his first
time on stage Matthew has been hooked on stand-up.
The years since then have found Matthew honing his
craft into a dynamite performance with energy levels
and content varying from venue to venue.  He reads
the crowd like a skilled poker player and adapts
accordingly. Drawing from his own personal
experiences and struggles has given him satisfaction
in finding the truthful humor in the world around him.  
The character development used on each person
mentioned in his set makes the audiences feel they
know everybody in his world personally, showing his
strength as a comedic writer.  His years on the road
has given him the greatest piece of his act, from
situation to situation he proves that
"Common Sense ain't that Common."
